Rules and Regulations:

Scope & Professional Boundaries Peer-Level Support Only: Acting strictly as wellness guides, peer listeners, and lifestyle coaches. Do not diagnose medical or psychiatric conditions. Mandatory Referral Protocol: For severe personal trauma, extreme depression, or self-harm thoughts, immediately guide students to the university’s professional counsellor or medical cell using the campus emergency contact slip kept at the table. Strict Confidentiality: All personal stress or academic struggles shared by students remain strictly confidential between them and the counselling team.

Time & Crowd Management (The Single-Table Rule) The 3-Minute Limit: Keep interactions fast, dynamic, and engaging (3 to 5 minutes per student) to avoid blockages in festival walkways. Active Rotation: Rotate team roles every hour: Person A: Manages course-wise Rx jars and interactive props. Person B: Handles active listening and quick counselling chats. Person C: Handles crowd control, sanitization, and handing out notes/flyers.

Hygiene & Table Presentation Sanitization First: Keep a prominent hand sanitizer bottle on the table. Frequently sanitize all shared props (blood pressure cuffs, pulse oximeters, aromatherapy bottles) between students. Clutter Control: Keep only active props (Rx jars, centrepiece poster, suggestion chits) on the surface. Store extra supplies (pens, spare slips, water bottles) securely under or behind the table.

Behaviour & Tone Welcoming and Approachable: Match the festive environment with warm smiles, friendly body language, and light humour instead of a rigid clinic demeanour. Zero Judgment: Validate every student's feelings equally—whether minor project anxiety or major exam pressure—across all departments without exception.

Important: The guidelines will be shared 2 days before the event.
