Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility requirements:

Diploma Qualification

  • ✓ Passed a minimum THREE-year Diploma or TWO-year Diploma (Lateral
  • ✓ In any branch of Engineering Technology
  • ✓ With at least 50% aggregate marks

B.Sc. Qualification

  • ✓ Passed a B.Sc. degree from a recognized University as defined by the
  • ✓ With at least 50% aggregate marks, and
  • ✓ Must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject

Vocational Qualification

  • ✓ Passed B.Voc or three-year D.Voc
  • ✓ In the same or allied sector
  • ✓ Minimum 50% Marks

(ii) Only those candidates who are working professionals employed in recognized industries, organizations, or establishments located within a radius of 50 km from Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab, shall be eligible for admission to the B.Tech (Working Professionals) programs.

(iii) Candidates must possess a minimum of one year (12 months) of full-time work experience after successfully completing the qualifying Diploma, in a registered firm / company / industry relevant to the chosen field of engineering, as on the date of submission of the application form.

(iv) Candidates are required to submit a ‘No Objection Certificate (NOC)’ from their employer, in the prescribed format, permitting them to pursue the B.Tech program while continuing employment

Admission Process (UGC-Compliant)


Admissions to the B.Tech Programs for Working Professionals at Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956, applicable UGC regulations, and the academic ordinances of the University.

Eligible candidates shall submit the prescribed application form as notified by the University from time to time.

Applicants are required to ensure that all details furnished in the application form are correct and supported by valid documents.

Eligibility Verification

All applications shall be scrutinized by the University to verify compliance with prescribed eligibility criteria, including

  • Any other criteria prescribed by the University from time to time, in accordance with regulatory norms.

Shortlisted candidates must appear for document verification as notified by the University. Candidates are required to produce original documents along with self-attested copies.

Documents generally required include:

  • Diploma / Degree mark sheets and certificates
  • Proof of date of birth
  • 10+2 mark sheet (where applicable)
  • Identity proof
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience
  • NOC
  • Any other document as specified by the University

Provisional Admission Offer

Candidates who successfully complete the verification process shall be issued a provisional admission offer, subject to fulfillment of all academic and administrative requirements.

Fee Payment and Admission Confirmation

Admission shall be confirmed only after:

  • Payment of prescribed fees within the stipulated time
  • Submission of all required documents
  • Compliance with University rules and regulations

Failure to complete the above within the specified timeline may result in cancellation of the provisional admission.

Registration and Commencement of Classes
