TWO-DAYS WORKSHOP ON “CYBERSECURITY, CLOUD COMPUTING, PYTHON & AI/ML”

The University School of Commerce and Management at Lamrin Tech Skills University successfully organized a comprehensive two-day technical workshop for the students of BCA and MCA from the Department. The workshop, held on campus, featured expert sessions delivered by Mr. Harish Chawla, Vice President of Pisoft Informatics Pvt. Ltd., Mohali, and Er. Abhay Rana, Data Scientist Engineer at Pisoft Informatics Pvt. Ltd.

The sessions aimed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and current industry practices. Mr. Harish Chawla delivered detailed lectures on Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing, providing students with deep insights into threat detection, security protocols, data privacy measures, and the importance of cloud infrastructure in modern IT environments.
Er. Abhay Rana conducted practical sessions on Python Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science. He shared real-world use cases and engaged students through hands-on demonstrations and discussions, enhancing their understanding of how AI and data analytics drive decision-making in various industries.

The interaction with industry experts not only helped students gain valuable technical exposure but also provided them with essential career guidance.

Following the conclusion of the workshop, the university expressed a keen interest in exploring internship opportunities with Pisoft Informatics Pvt. Ltd. for BCA and MCA students. This initiative aims to foster a robust academic-industry partnership, providing students with hands-on experience and industry-relevant skill development.
