This year’s global theme — ‘Youth Skills for Peace and Development’ — reminds us that skills are not just about jobs; they’re about building a better world.
Sh. Nirmal Singh Rayat (Chancellor, LTSU) congratulated students and faculty, stressing the lifelong importance of skilling, upskilling, and reskilling in today’s fast-changing world.
On this occasion, Dr. A.S. Chawla (Vice Chancellor, LTSU) inspired all by sharing powerful insights on making education more engaging and meaningful. He emphasized project-based learning, creativity through nature, and the power of identifying each student’s unique strengths.
Mr. Sachin Jain (Executive Director, LTSU) highlighted that:
“Without skills, even the brightest student is zero. Skill is survival. Skill is success.”
The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Prof. B.S. Satyal (Registrar), Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, Dr. H.P.S. Dhami, Mr. Vimal Manhotra (CFO), Prof. (Dr.) Shyamal Koley, Er. Mandeep Atwal, Prof. Narinder Bhumbla (PRO), Mr. Gurpreet Singh (Manager IT), along with dedicated faculty, staff, and enthusiastic students.
