"BUILDING A SUCCESSFUL IT CAREER & INDUSTRY TRENDS"

The University School of Commerce and Management at Lamrin Tech Skills University successfully organized an insightful Guest Lecture on Monday, May 26, 2025, for its MBA and MCA students. The session was conducted in collaboration with NugEn IT Services, a global IT solutions company established in 2010, known for delivering web and mobile solutions across various sectors.
The distinguished guests for the day were Mr. Varun, Chief Technology Officer at NugEn IT Services, and Ms. Vishakha, representing the company’s Human Resource team. The session aimed to provide students with valuable industry insights, career guidance, and the latest trends shaping the IT landscape.

The event began with a warm welcome and formal introduction by a student representative, who highlighted the contributions of NugEn IT Services to the tech industry and the relevance of such interactions in shaping students’ professional futures.

Mr. Varun, who has extensive expertise in 12 programming languages and oversees all technical operations at NugEn, led the technical session. He shared a deep dive into:

• Emerging trends in Information Technology, including AI, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
• Skills in demand for the IT industry and how students can begin preparing while still in university.
• Guidance on how to build a sustainable and fulfilling career in IT, along with tips on adapting to the dynamic nature of the tech ecosystem.
• Insights on selecting the right career path based on one’s interests, aptitude, and industry demand.

The session concluded with a highly interactive Q&A segment, where students actively engaged with the speakers, asking questions related to career choices, technical learning paths, and industry expectations.

A student delivered the vote of thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the guests for sharing their time, experience, and wisdom.
