The DevNest Club, in collaboration with the University School of Engineering & Technology (USET), Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab, successfully organized a Guest Lecture on Career Guidance and Industry Readiness on 5th February 2026.

The session was led by Mr. Amit Kumar Jaiswal, an experienced educator and co-founder of Aptitude360, who shared valuable real-world insights on career planning and professional growth. He emphasized how critical thinking and effective communication skills play a key role in making a positive impression and securing opportunities in today’s competitive professional environment.

During the lecture, Mr. Jaiswal also discussed common mistakes made by students and shared practical strategies to avoid them by aligning academic learning with industry expectations and focusing on continuous skill development.

The session was followed by an engaging Question & Answer round, where students actively interacted and gained clarity on career paths and industry requirements.

The event concluded with the felicitation of the chief guest, with a memento presented by Mrs. Meenakshi Sharma, Head of the Department, USET, as a token of appreciation.With enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members, the session proved to be insightful and impactful, helping bridge the gap between university education and real-world professional demands.
