GUEST LECTURE ON PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

The University School of Commerce and Management at Lamrin Tech Skills University successfully organized a guest lecture on Portfolio Management on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. The session was conducted by the esteemed Mr. Vishavdeep Sharma, a SMARTs Trainer with SEBI and NCFE and a Resource Person for HIRD and NIRD, who shared his vast expertise in investment strategies, risk management, and financial markets.
Mr. Sharma, an accomplished finance professional with 18 years of experience in teaching, training, development, and placement, provided students with valuable insights into Portfolio Management, Mutual Funds, Derivatives, SIPs, ETFs, Commodity Markets, and Risk Analysis. He emphasized the importance of financial literacy, strategic investments, and risk mitigation in today’s dynamic business environment. His practical approach and real-world examples made the session highly engaging and insightful. The lecture was well attended by faculty members, including Ms. Manu Bala, Ms. Bhawna Arora, Ms. Kulwinder Kaur, Ms. Alisha Duggal, Ms. Mansi Kundra and Training & Placement officer Dr. Joney Janotra.
The introduction of the speaker was delivered by MBA 2nd semester student Ms. Neha, while the vote of thanks was presented by MBA 2nd semester student Ms. Mandeep Kaur.
