FINANCE CLUB ACTIVITY- FINATIC OLYMPICS

The Finance Club at the University School of Commerce and Management (USCM) hosted an exciting and intellectually stimulating event titled "Fin-Olympics" on April 25, 2025 (Friday), from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Seminar Hall, A Block. The event brought together students eager to test their knowledge and skills in the field of finance through a series of interactive quizzes and fun games. The Fin-Olympics provided a platform for participants to engage in both intellectual and entertaining activities, with a focus on finance, share markets, banking, and more.

The event featured the Finatic Quiz, which was the main attraction of the day. A total of 7 teams participated in the quiz, with each team consisting of 3 members. The quiz was structured into multiple rounds, including a Preliminary Round with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), followed by the Semi-Finals, which included Visual Rounds, Rapid Fire, and Abbreviation-based questions. The topics ranged from general finance to share markets, banking, and logo identification. The quiz was held under strict rules, including the prohibition of electronic devices, and in the case of a tie, a tie-breaker round was held. 

The winners of the Finatic Quiz were as follows: 1st place was awarded to Adarsh, Shanu, and Manjot (BBA 2nd  semester ) ; the 2nd place went to Amritprabhjot kaur , Lovepreet, and Amanjot (BCOM 4th semester ) ; and the 3rd place was shared by two teams: Kartik, Amritpal, and Gaurav (MBA 2nd semester ), and Navjot, Sapna, and Komalpreet (BBA 4th semester ).
In addition to the quiz, the Finatic Games added a lively and competitive edge to the event. The games included the Word War and Money Matching Cards, which kept participants on their toes. The winners of the Word War game were Amritprabhjot kaur  and Lovepreet(BCOM 4th semester )  while the Money Matching Cards game was claimed by Tanbir (BCA 2nd semester and Amritpal Singh (MBA 2nd semester ).

The Fin-Olympics was a resounding success, thanks to the active participation of students and the seamless organization by the Finance Club. It provided an engaging blend of knowledge, competition, and entertainment, and it was well-received by everyone who attended. The Finance Club extends its congratulations to all the winners and participants and looks forward to organizing more such dynamic events in the future.
