The most colourful and vibrant festival of India Holi- Festival Of Colours was celebrated at University School Of Commerce and Management, on Friday 22 nd March 2024.Holi, marked by vibrant colours, gulaal, and puja, is more than just a festival, it's a grand celebration of happiness and spirit.Holi is the festival which commemorates the victory of good over evil, brought about by the burning and destruction of the evil demon named Holika. So, the spirit of Holi taught the students to follow good conduct in life and believe in the virtue of being truthful and honest. The festival marks the end of winter and the abundance of the upcoming spring harvest season. Four competitions: Card Making, T-Shirt Painting, Pot and Flower making and Rangoli Making were conducted. The students participated with great enthusiasm, adding to the vibrancy of the event. At the end, winners of competition were announced. Ms Rishita (B.Com 2 nd Year) stood first, Ms Kirti Sharma (BCA 1 st Year) stood second and Ms Diya Kalra (B.Com 1 st Year) stood third in Card making competition. In T-Shirt painting Ms Dibjot Kaur (B.COM 2 nd Year) stood first and Ms Amritprabhjot Kaur & Ms Gunjan (B.COM 1 st Year) stood second. Ms Gurpreet Kaur (B.Com 1 st Year) stood first in Pot and Flower making Competition. In Rangoli Making Ms Amanjot Kaur & Ms Lovepreet Kaur (B.Com 1 st Year) stood first and Ms Harjot Kaur & Ms Aarti (BCA 1 st Year) stood second.
