Adieu – First to Fly, Forever to Inspire
Farewell Ceremony for the Batch 2022–2025
The University School of Commerce and Management organized a heartfelt farewell ceremony titled “Adieu – First to Fly, Forever to Inspire” on 7th June 2025 at the Multi-Purpose Hall, LTSU, to bid adieu to the graduating Batch of 2022–2025. The event was filled with emotion, gratitude, and celebration, honoring the students’ academic journey and personal growth. It began with an energetic and engaging opening by the student anchors, Tanbir and Manraj, whose witty and emotional presentation set the tone for the day. The celebration continued with a vibrant array of cultural performances, including dynamic dance numbers by Shweta, Prabhjot, Khushboo, Rishita, Jaspreet, Prabhjot and Amandeep, and soulful singing performances by Sukhraj, along with a duet by Kushal and Manraj. A series of ramp walks with interactive Q&A rounds added excitement and gave students a platform to express themselves with style and confidence.
A major highlight of the evening was the special award and title announcements. Lovegeet Kaur (B.Com 6th) was honored as the Student of the Batch, while Rishab Manhas (BCA 6th) and Tania (BCA 6th) were crowned Mr. and Ms. Farewell. Mr. Personality went to Khushal Singh (BCA 6th), and Ms. Charming was awarded to Rishita (B.Com 6th). These recognitions were based on a combination of academic performance, leadership, involvement in campus life, and peer and faculty appreciation. The emotional peak of the event came during the memory-sharing segment, where teachers and students reminisced about their shared experiences, revealing the strong bonds forged over the years. The celebration continued with a group photo session, capturing a moment in time to be treasured by all. The event concluded with a spirited DJ where students danced and celebrated their final moments together on campus.
Overall, the farewell was a meaningful and joyful tribute to the graduating class—a blend of celebration and reflection. It reminded everyone that while these students may be the “First to Fly,” they are certainly “Forever to Inspire.” The tireless efforts of the organizing team, faculty, and students ensured that the event was not only well-executed but also deeply memorable for all who attended.
