Awareness rally to celebrate the 4th National Pharmacovigilance Week

Institute of Pharmacy-Lamrin Technical Skills University Punjab organized an awareness rally to celebrate the 4th National Pharmacovigilance Week in which more than 300 students participated with great enthusiasm. The rally was flagged off by Dr. Joginder Arora (Executive Dean, LTSU),  Dr. Satyal (Advisor to Chancellor, LTSU) , Dr Ashutosh Sharma (Dean, Marketing and Admission, LTSU), Er. Mandeep Singh Atwal (Director, Polytechnic, LTSU) along with Dr. NS Gill (Director, Institute of Pharmacy) in the presence of faculty of Pharmacy Department.

The awareness rally started at 12pm and students took out the rally by reciting slogans and spreading awareness. All the participants marched towards different departments, holding banners and T’s with the message of “Building ADR reporting culture for patient safety”.

On this occasion, our worthy Chancellor, Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura  discussed the role of Pharmacist in ADR  awareness for patient safety on social front. Dr. Parwinder Kaur, Pro-VC acknowledged and appreciated the invaluable efforts of the students and faculty of Pharmacy. Dr. Rajiv Mahajan, Registrar-LTSU also joined the rally and conveyed best wishes to the Pharmacy department and encourage them to conduct such activities in the future.
