"ACT LIKE A STAR" – A Celebration of Talent, Expression & Stardom!

The Cultural Club of the University School of Commerce & Management, Lamrin Tech Skills University, Punjab, successfully organized a vibrant and entertaining event titled "Act Like a Star" on Wednesday, April 24, 2025. The event took place in the Seminar Hall, A Block, and saw enthusiastic participation from students across various departments.

The objective of the event was to provide students with a creative platform to showcase their talents by stepping into the shoes of their favourite celebrities. Participants dressed up and performed as their admired stars, displaying talents ranging from acting and dancing to singing and mimicry. This fun-filled event brought out the flair, charisma, and enthusiasm of the participants while promoting confidence, self-expression, and cultural appreciation.

The event witnessed a variety of impersonations, with students creatively portraying stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, characters from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Sharry Mann, Karan Aujla, Sargun Mehta, Rupi Gill, and Gippy Grewal. The performances were met with cheers, applause, and an atmosphere of admiration as the participants dazzled the audience with their flair and personality.

The event concluded with the announcement of winners, based on criteria like presentation, performance, and resemblance to the stars. The winners were as follows:
• 1st Position: Mandeep & Mamta (BBA, 2nd Semester), Kushal (BCA, 2nd Semester)
• 2nd Position: Tanbir (BCA, 2nd Semester)
• 3rd Position: Shweta (MBA, 2nd Semester)

The Cultural Club, under the guidance of faculty members, ensured smooth coordination and management of the event. The event not only offered a refreshing break from academics but also allowed students to exhibit their hidden talents and connect with peers through creativity and performance.

"Act Like a Star" was a true celebration of talent, passion, and personality—an event that left a lasting impact on both the audience and the performers. The Cultural Club remains committed to organizing such dynamic and inclusive activities that foster holistic development and community spirit among students.
