The University School of Computing (USOC) organized an insightful guest lecture on the topic “Artificial Intelligence and Data Science” for BCA students. The session aimed to enhance students’ understanding of emerging AI technologies and their practical implications in real-world scenarios.

Resource Persons

  • Mr Anshu Aneja – Director of ANSH InfoTech, who possesses over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. He holds B. Tech and M. Tech degrees and is internationally certified by CISCO, HPE, and Microsoft. His expertise includes Network Security, Cybersecurity, and Ethical Hacking.
  • Mr Madan – AI/ML Engineer, who shared valuable insights into Artificial Intelligence concepts, AI agents, and their real-world applications.
  • Mr Jaspreet – Senior Security Analyst, who explained practical aspects of cybersecurity, including how hackers exploit different platforms, methods of data theft, and techniques used to interact with users through AI-based systems.

The session, delivered collaboratively by all the experts, provided a comprehensive understanding of Artificial Intelligence and cybersecurity with a strong emphasis on real-world applications and live demonstrations.

Objectives of the Lecture

  • To introduce students to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence
  • To explain real-world applications of AI
  • To demonstrate cybersecurity threats using AI tools
  • To provide hands-on exposure to modern AI-based techniques

The session was highly interactive and practical-oriented. Mr Aneja explained how AI agents are used in modern systems and demonstrated how cyber attackers can exploit platforms to steal user data.
Key highlights of the session include:

  • Demonstration of how hackers can steal data from different platforms
  • Explanation of how attackers communicate with users using AI-based chat techniques
  • Live practical demonstration of AI tools and cybersecurity threats
  • Discussion on real-world case scenarios related to data breaches

Students were actively engaged and gained hands-on experience through live demonstrations.
