EXPERT LECTURE
The University School of Commerce and Management at Lamrin Tech Skills University successfully organized an Expert Lecture on 16th April 2026 in the Smart Room, A-Block.The session was conducted for UG and PG students, with a total participation of 60 attendees,including 55 students and 5 faculty members.
The lecture was delivered by Mr. P. K. Verma, Director HR at Lamrin Tech Skills University, who shared valuable insights on Time Management and preparing students for the Real Corporate World.
The session focused on building a strong foundation in time management, emphasizing its importance in achieving both academic and professional success. Mr. Verma elaborated on practical approaches to resume building, managing stress and anxiety, and enhancing overall productivity through structured planning and disciplined execution.
The lecture was highly interactive and enriched with real-world examples, helping students understand the application of time management techniques in corporate settings. Special emphasis was laid on improving aptitude and interview skills through effective scheduling and time allocation. The session also highlighted the importance of maintaining a balance between professional and personal life, while encouraging students to minimize distractions and adopt focused work habits.
Participants were introduced to practical tools and techniques such as the ABCDE method, preparation of to-do lists, and strategies to meet deadlines efficiently. The discussion reinforced the importance of consistency over procrastination, enabling students to develop a disciplined and goal-oriented mindset.
The session concluded with an engaging Q&A interaction, where students actively participated and clarified their queries, reflecting their keen interest and involvement.
