BSI Learning Australia team visited Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU) Punjab
Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU), Punjab recently hosted an esteemed delegation from BSI Learning Australia to discuss potential collaborations in the areas of Hospitality and Cyber Security. The visit took place on 2ndSeptember 2024 and provided a platform for in-depth discussions on how both institutions could work together for skill training and overseas employment.
The BSI Learning delegation was led by Ms. Kala Philip, CEO and Executive Directorincluded key members Mr. Scott Wesley, Chief Content Officer; Mr. Mick Lynch, Chairman; and Mr. Vipul Rastogi, India Head. They were accompanied by representatives from Can And Able Advisory, including Mr. Munish Arora, Mr. Jayant Trehan, and Mr. Buland Iqbal Singh.
Ms. Kala Philip provided an overview of the certificate courses and the Australian curriculum for Cyber Security and Hospitality. She discussed how the curriculum is benchmarked against global standards and explored ways to bridge existing gaps by mapping the curriculum to better align with the specific needs of the LTSU.
The discussions were chaired by the Honorable Chancellor Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura, who emphasized the importance of international collaborations in elevating the educational standards. Both institutions expressed enthusiasm for the possibilities that a future collaboration could bring, particularly in introducing cutting-edge certificate courses in Hospitality and Cyber Security that would align with both Indian and Australian industry requirements.
Prof. AS Chawla, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Parvinder Kaur, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Rajiv Mahajan, Registrar, along with all Deans and Principals were also present during the discussions, reflecting the university’s collective commitment to exploring global partnerships.
