Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab (LTSU), in association with RailTel and NSDC, is proud offers a range of work-integrated, industry-sponsored programs designed to address real-time skill needs of the Indian Railway ecosystem and allied industries. These programs follow the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and align with NSQF Levels 3 to 5, offering flexible, modular certifications and diplomas. These initiatives aim to equip youth with the technical and practical skills essential for careers in the Indian Railways and associated industries.

About RailTel


RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. is a "Mini Ratna (Category-I)" Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways. It is one of the largest neutral telecom infrastructure providers in the country, with a pan-India optic fiber network covering thousands of railway stations and cities. RailTel plays a key role in digital transformation and connectivity solutions across Indian Railways and government sectors. It is also deeply involved in projects related to railway modernization, smart stations, safety systems, and ICT-based infrastructure.

About NSDC


The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a not-for-profit public limited company established by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India. Its mission is to promote skill development by catalyzing the creation of large, quality, and affordable vocational training institutions. NSDC works in partnership with industry, academia, and training providers to bridge the skill gap and make India’s youth job-ready across sectors.


Academic Delivery

  • 30–40% via LTSU Faculty

  • Evening Classes at Worksite (4 hrs a Week)

  • Monthly Campus Visits (4 days a Month)

  • 60-70% via OJT in industry

Eligibility

  • 10th (Maths & Science) Pass for 3 Years Diploma in Engineering

  • 12th (Vocational/Non-Medical) or ITI for Lateral Entry (2 Years Program)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years

  • Employer Letter, NOC, Aadhaar, PAN, Residence Proof

Admission of a candidate to the programme should be made in its first semester/for lateral entry in 3rd semester. He/she shall be promoted to the subsequent semesters of the programme after completing necessary formalities.

No candidate shall be eligible for admission to the Programme if he/she is already registered for any full time Programme of this University or any other University/Institute.
